With up to 800 workers potentially on site each day and a projected public footfall of many thousands per week, it is essential for 27 Baker Street to have the latest life safety systems installed to fully protect the 7-story Building during the unoccupied times as well as the operational day.
The Solution
Artisan Fire & Security’s status as a Honeywell fire systems integrator was crucial from the outset. Working with the client over recent years gave the client the required confidence that the appropriate system would be designed and delivered. Artisan was able to meet the brief and design and deliver a fully integrated life safety system including both fire detection and public address. Artisan’s responsibility on this project included Fire, PA and evacuation technologies and system integrations. These all integrated into one interface that can be managed and monitored on-site and/or remotely. The refurbished building now has life safety technologies that are commensurate with the quality and profile of the site.
